I am always happy to work to commission, big or small, whether it be that you have something specific in mind or that you fancy something similar to one of my paintings which has already sold.
Here are some previous commissions along with testimonials from people I have painted them for.
"The whole process from initial concept to finished painting was an enjoyable experience. I felt confident in Mel's ability to create something special based just on a rough idea and a visit to see where the painting would hang. We are delighted with the finished result - it makes a striking focal point in our garden room. The poppy is incredibly vibrant and brings a feel of the outdoors into the house."

"My office is on the wrong side of the old (Victorian) Guy's Hospital Medical School, looking out on the backs of other brick buildings with their rusty iron fire escapes, blackened bricks and dirty sash windows. It was depressing until I hung two of Mel's large Wells Cathedral paintings to give vibrancy and perspective in a room with 20ft high ceilings, and then some smaller paintings in my, and the outer office for variety. They bring a smile to my face each morning as I enter, and are invariably commented upon favourably by visitors, so meetings here start on a bright note. So, art driving social change, and giving me daily pleasure."
These works featured on BBC2 Newsnight in the summer when their owner was interviewed. The subject was unrelated but it was great to see them shown in their new home.
